Welcome, I’m Dr. Ranaa Farooq

I used to work as a GP in the NHS.

I saw how effective modern medicine can be - but also where it misses the mark.

Especially for people living with long term or unexplained chronic health issues.

I want you to know you’re not alone

  • Yet something still doesn’t feel right - chronic fatigue, chronic pain, unexplained symptoms, or just a deep sense that there is something not being addressed.

The Missing Piece

Modern medicine tends to focus on physical symptoms but often misses the deeper connection between your spirit, emotions, and health.

When you live out of sync with the spirit of who you truly are - the bit of you that feels human and alive - it creates a deep sense of unease, often showing up as stress, discomfort, or ‘dis-ease’ in the body. 

By spirit, I simply mean your inner spark - your sense of purpose, meaning, and connection. For some, that might be rooted in faith. But you don’t need to be religious to recognise that we all have a spirit - and when that part of us is ignored, health suffers.

Your thoughts and beliefs play a powerful role too. It’s not about saying it’s ‘all in your head,’ but recognising how strongly your mind and body influence each other.

Understanding this connection is key to restoring wellness

That’s where I come in.


My work is not medical treatment or a substitute for medical care - I gave up my registration as a practicing doctor.

Instead, I offer what I felt I couldn’t as a GP: A space where science meets spirit - bringing together my medical background with coaching, creativity, and mind-body healing to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and restore wellness.

My Journey from Doctor to Mind-Body Coach:

I had to reconnect with my own spirit before I could see there was another way.

Years as a GP left me questioning why so many people with chronic illness and burnout stayed unwell despite medical treatment. When the pandemic made me pause, I realised I was struggling too - disconnected from my body and spirit despite outward success.

Somewhere along the way, through painting and reflection, I reconnected with my spirit.

That’s when I began to see the deeper roots of illness - how chronic stress, emotion and disconnection can influence our health.

Exploring mindfulness, neuroscience, and creativity changed everything for me.

Now, I help others reconnect with who they truly are and create the inner conditions for healing to begin.
